Scouting for Food Drive - November 3rd-10th, 2018

Did you know that Maine ranks 16th in the nation and 1st in New England for food insecurity? That means people are without reliable access to affordable & nutritious food.

People’s United Bank has partnered again this year with the Pine Tree Council Boys Scouts of America to combat food insecurity with the Scouting for Food Drive during the week of November 3rd. All items will be distributed by local food banks to our neighbors in need. Our goal is to collect 25 tons of food this year.

The Scouting for Food Drive on November 10th is both the traditional door to door neighborhood collections by Scouts, and ‘fill the tent’ events that packs and troops organize at local grocery stores and other locations.

AND, during the week of November 3rd to 9th, you can drop off non-perishable food items at most  People’s United Bank Branches – from Biddeford to Brunswick to Bangor.

Please locate a participating branch HERE

Please note that if you donate at one of the bank branches you must do so by November 9th.
